Ismar Littmann, Breslau (who was a friend of the artist); Sale Max Perl, Berlin 1935 (the Gestapo confiscated it from the auction). It was then shown at the "Entartete Kunst" (Degenerate Art) exhibition in Munich in 1937. In 1942 it was sold to Josef Haubrich. Gift of Hubrich to Wallraf-Richartz-Museum in Cologne in 1946. Restituted by the Museum to the heirs Littmann and repurchased by Museum Ludwig in 1999.
