Biography:

Alois Landerer was a wholesale merchant of timber and tools for its processing (mechanical saws and planes). Between 1927 and 1938 he was the consul of Lithuania in Breslau.

Description of the collection:

Gustava and Alois Landerer's collection consisted of paintings by Max Slevogt, Max Liebermann, Lovis Corinth, Otto Mueller and Adolphe Monticelli. The interiors of the villa were designed and furnished by famous architect Bruno Paul.
