Kurt von Eichborn (1877-1962)

Educated as a historian of art, Kurt von Eichborn was a member of the renowned family of bankers in Breslau which owned the bank "Eichborn & Co". His villa in Eichendorfstrasse was designed by the famous Swedish architect Alfred Grenander in 1912.

Description of the collection:

Eichborn's collection included works of Gustave Courbet and Camille Pissarro, as well as Old Masters such as Pordenone. It also featured the pieces by painters Hans von Marées and Otto Greiner, as well as sculptors August Gaul or Bernard Hoetger.
